Who is in charge of code enforcement?

As we are not a municipality, code enforcement and related ordnances are covered by Elkhart County Government. You may contact Elkhart County Code Enforcement by clicking here or calling: 574-971-4678.

The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office is the primary law enforcement agency for the New Paris area. A fully accredited law enforcement agency, the Sheriff’s Office has been serving our community since 1830. Additional law enforcement coverage is provided by troopers with the Indiana State Police.
